An onboarding coach?!
On 8 June 2023, Waterschap De Dommel held a careers fair and SocialFind took care of the recruitment and promotion. We rewrote the vacancies, approached passive jobseekers and shot beautiful short-form video for every role. The online campaign then ran widely across central and eastern Brabant.
The goal? To show as many people as possible that Waterschap De Dommel is a top-notch employer.
The result? So many people were taken on that we had to start looking for an onboarding coach straight away.

- And an onboarding coach ;)
Starting point
Waterschap De Dommel was looking for people in a wide range of fields: lawyers, mechanical fitters, permit officers, advisers and information provision specialists. A water authority isn't an obvious employer for many jobseekers, even though the work is varied and of social importance.
Approach
We set up campaigns per field on Facebook and Instagram, with short videos and a dedicated application form per field. Around the job fair in June 2023 we also took care of recruitment and promotion. From 2024 onwards, our team also added the candidates per vacancy to our recruitment system.
Period
The first applications came in at the end of December 2022, and the last campaign ran until October 2024 inclusive. The figures below only count applications via our own forms.
